NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF AN APPLICATION FOR

ADMINISTRATIVE APPEAL 

Notice is given that on the 28th day of July, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. E.T., a public hearing will be held before the Pulaski County Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) at the Pulaski County Highway Garage, 1131 US-35, Winamac, IN 46996, on an Application for Administrative Appeal. The Application was filed by Gail Lambert and Jaybird Farm Trust Dated January 2, 2020; Larry E. Lambert and Gail T. Lambert, Trustees.

Docket #07282025-01 was filed appealing the Building Inspector’s decision not to revoke Building Permit #4242 issued to Mammoth Solar on February 25, 2025, and not to issue a stop work order.  

The permit being challenged was issued to Mammoth Solar.  Mammoth Solar is an assumed business name for Starke Solar LLC.  Other Mammoth entities that may be associated with the project that is the subject of the challenged permit are Mammoth Central LLC, Mammoth Central II LLC, Mammoth North LLC, and Mammoth South LLC.

The Application and all submitted documentation are available for review Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Building/Zoning Department, County Building, 125 South Riverside Dr., Suite 150, Winamac, IN by appointment.  Written suggestions or objections concerning the Application may be filed with the Plan Administrator or Administrative Secretary at or before the public hearing.  Interested persons desiring to present their views on the Application, either in writing 48 hours prior to said hearing date, or verbally, will be given the opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place.  Said hearing may be continued from time to time as may be necessary.
