ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE PULASKI COUNTY 

AUDITOR’S OFFICE FEES

WHEREAS, the Auditor of Pulaski County desires to have an ordinance in place to follow in accordance to Ind. Code 32-17-14-26 implementing the new requirements and fees for Transfer on Death Deeds.

WHEREAS, the I.C. 32-17-14-26 allows that the legislative body for a county may adopt an ordinance authorizing the Auditor to collect a fee in amount of $10.00 for the legal description of each parcel contained in a Transfer on Death Deed for which the Auditor makes a real property endorsement; and 

WHEREAS, said fee shall be placed in a dedicated fund for use in maintaining plat books; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Pulaski County Commissioners that the Pulaski County Auditor shall charge $10.00 per parcel for each Transfer on Death Deed that the Auditor endorses. 

Repealer Cause. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Severability Clause. Should any section, paragraph, clause or phrase of this ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid, the remainder of said ordinance shall continue in full force and effect.
