NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of The Town of Winamac, Pulaski County, Indiana that the proper officers of the Town of Winamac at a Public Hearing at the Winamac Utility Complex, 623 W. 11th Street, at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th day of November, 2023, will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.

GENERAL FUND (1101)

  1101-001-135.000 Promotion of Business $2,500.00

  1101-001-319.000 Outside Service $16,375.00

  1101-004-221.000 Police Gas, Oil, Etc $3,700.00

  1101-001-311.000 Garbage & Recycle Disposal $6,250.00

  1101-004-367.000 Police Car Repairs $17,000.00

TOTAL $45,825.00

PARK FUND (2204)

  2204-001-371.000 Park Rentals

TOTAL $3,800.00

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INCOME TAX (2209)

  2209-001-432.000 EDIT-Capital Outlay

TOTAL $48,000.00

TOTAL APPROPRIATIONS $97,625.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard.  The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (Department).  The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
