MEDARYVILLE COMMON COUNCIL 

ORDINANCE NO. 2025-07-01

APPROVING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION IN THE BUDGET OF MVH RESTRICTED FUND #2203 FOR THE TOWN’S LOCAL MATCH FOR THE COMMUNITY CROSSING MATCHING GRANT (CCMG)

WHEREAS, it has been demonstrated to the Medaryville Town Council that it is necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the 2025 Annual Budget to cover costs of the Town’s local match for the Community Crossing Matching Grant (CCMG) for street paving; and 

WHEREAS, the Town Clerk/Treasurer has determined that sufficient unappropriated funds are available in MVH RESTRICTED #2203 to be appropriated for that purpose.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council for the Town of Medaryville, Indiana, that for the expenses of the Town the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated out of the fund-named and for the purpose specified above, subject to the laws governing the same:

     Unappropriated balance $20,000.00

INCREASE ACCOUNT #4501 $20,000.00

     Local Road & Bridge matching grant fund

TOTAL FOR FUND $20,000.00

This Ordinance to be effective upon passage by the Council, any necessary publication, and any necessary approval by the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance.
