NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED
ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of The Town of Winamac, Pulaski County, Indiana that the proper officers of the Town of Winamac at a Public Hearing at the Winamac Utility Complex, 623 W. 11th Street, at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th day of September, 2025, will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.

GENERAL FUND (1101)

1101-001-135.000 Promotion of Business $  1,500.00

1101-001-319.000 Outside Service $  2,000.00

1101-003-362.000 Fire – Radio & Pager $     800.00

1101-003-444.000 Fire – New Equipment $53,000.00

1101-004-133.000 Police Professional Services $15,443.00

     TOTAL $72,743.00

LAW ENFORCEMENT CONTINUING EDUCATION (2228)

2228-001-131.000 Law Enf Cont Education – Police Training $  5,000.00

     TOTAL $  5,000.00

LOIT – PUBLIC SAFETY (2240)

2240-001-444.000 PS LIT – Police – New Equipment $25,000.00

     TOTAL $25,000.00

TRASH & GARBAGE PICKUP (6604)

6604-301-590.000 Trash – Sanitation - Other $28,000.00

     TOTAL $28,000.00

TOTAL APPROPRIATIONS $130,743.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard.  The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (Department). The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
