Legal Notice of Adoption of an Ordinance Establishing a Fee for Applications for Assessed-Value Deductions
Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Pulaski County, Indiana, that the Pulaski County Council (the ‘Council’), on 1 July 2024, adopted an ordinance, 2024-03, adopting an application, application guidelines, and application scoring guide for assessed-value deductions (tax abatements) for non-residential projects within the Council’s jurisdiction. Aforesaid ordinance, application, and guidelines require the payment of a $250 fee before the Pulaski County Economic Development Commission and the Council may consider such applications.
Aforesaid documents may be accessed online at http://development.pulaskionline.org/ or at the office of the Pulaski County Department of Community Development, 623 West Eleventh Street, Winamac. Aforesaid ordinance may be viewed at the Community Development office or in the offices of the Pulaski County auditor or assessor, both located on the upper level of the County Annex, 125 South Riverside Drive, Winamac.
Pursuant to the ordinance, the guidelines, application, and scoring guide became effective upon adoption; the fee shall become effective on 1 August 2024, following the publication of this notice on two occasions.
