Legal Notice of Adoption of Preliminary Tax Abatement Resolution and Public Hearing: LD Monterey Biogas, LLC and Loehmerland, LLC

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Pulaski County, Indiana, that the Pulaski County Council, on 12 February 2024, adopted a Preliminary Resolution, 2024-02, designating as an Economic Recovery Area (E.R.A.), for a period of 20 years, an area of land in Tippecanoe Civil Township commonly known as 4639 North 400 East, Monterey, Indiana; legally described as 015-01817-00 S.2 NE Sec 21 80A; identified as Parcel 66-01-21-100-002.000-015; and comprising 80 acres more or less.

Aforesaid E.R.A. has been established for the purpose of achieving assessed-value deduction (property-tax abatement) in connection with redevelopment or rehabilitation activities and the installation of new manufacturing equipment on the property. 

A description of the affected area and a copy of the Preliminary Resolution are available at the County Auditor’s office, upper floor, Pulaski County East Annex, 125 South Riverside Drive, Winamac, and can be inspected there during regular business hours.

On Monday, 11 March 2024, at or about 7:00 p.m. E.T., in the meeting room of the Pulaski County Highway garage, 1131 North U.S. 35, Winamac, the Pulaski County Council will conduct a public hearing to receive and to hear all remonstrances and objections, if any, to this project. Following the hearing, the County Council may take final action regarding the findings of the Preliminary Resolution and either award or deny property-tax abatement as requested by LD Monterey Biogas, LLC, and described in a Statement of Benefits.
