NOTICE OF HEARINGS

Pursuant to Indiana Code § 20-26-7-37 and Indiana Code § 6-1.1-20-3.1, notice is hereby given that the Board of School Trustees (the “Board”) of the Culver Community Schools Corporation will meet at 6:30 p.m. on March 4, 2024 and at 6:30 p.m. on March 18, 2024, at Administration Building, 700 School Street, Culver, Indiana to hold public hearings.  

On March 4, 2024, the Board will hold a public hearing to discuss and hear objections and support regarding the proposed expanded scope of the original project to be described as the Expansion and Improvement Projects, including renovation and construction of improvements to Culver Middle/High School and other school facilities and construction of a new Youth Center, including site improvements, the purchase of technology and equipment.

On March 18, 2024, the Board will hold a second public hearing to discuss and hear objections and support regarding the proposed expanded Projects and will also consider the adoption of a resolution making a preliminary determination to confirm that it entered into a Lease Agreement relating to the Projects and that bonds were issued to finance the Projects.  

No additional bonds will be issued.  The Board is holding these hearings in an abundance of caution to explain the expanded scope of the Projects for which existing bonds proceeds will be used. You are invited to attend and participate in the public hearings.
