Terry William Powers

Terry William Powers, 59, Logansport, (formerly of Star City) passed away Aug. 19, at his residence.

He was born on Oct. 26, 1955, in Winamac, to the late William Bryan and Mildred (Brinker) Powers.

Terry graduated from South Side High School in Ft. Wayne, and received a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Muncie.

He enjoyed going to auctions, woodworking and collecting antiques. He lived most of his life on the family farm in Indian Creek Township, Pulaski County, before moving to Logansport in 2007.

Survivors include his aunts: Marjorie Thompson of Winamac, and Mary Ellen Cook of Harlan, Iowa; and several cousins and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents William Bryan and Mildred (Brinker) Powers.

Private burial will take place at Star City West Cemetery, Star City.
