Sheila L. (Hoag) Wesley
Sheila L. (Hoag) Wesley, 57, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Agrace Hospice Janesville. She was born June 11, 1966, in Janesville to Gilbert C. and Saybra (Handschu) Hoag, Jr. On July 1, 2000, Sheila married her love Gregg Wesley in Afton, Wisconsin.
Sheila loved being outdoors, fishing, camping, Indiana beach trips and Florida ocean trips. She loved playing with her dog Loki and in her younger years dancing the night away somewhere with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Gregg Wesley; mother Saybra Hoag [Bill Kudrna]; Gregg’s son Anthony Wesley; sister Traci [Dale] Kaas; nephews: Mason, Cody and Gavin Kaas; siblings-in-law: Jerome Wesley, Steve Wesley, Susan Wesley, Jean Wesley and Chris Oehrke; and her dog Loki.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Danielle Wesley; father Gilbert Hoag; and father and mother-in-law Jerome and Corine Wesley.
A funeral service was held Friday, Aug. 18, at 12:30 p.m. at the Apfel Wolfe Funeral Home, Janesville, Wisconsin. Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to time of service. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery, Janesville.

Sheila’s family wishes to sincerely thank the nurses in ICU, the nurses at UW, and Agrace; but also to all the coworkers who gave what they could to Sheila and Gregg and everyone else who helped in whatever way they could. You will not be forgotten.
