Richard L. Kurz
Richard L. Kurz, 82, of Kewanna passed away at 4:52 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28 at home surrounded by family.
Born on Dec. 12, 1939 in Muncie, he was the son of the late William and Ruth (Mills) Kurz.
He was a Winamac High School graduate. Richard was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was a retired Aircraft mechanic at the Logansport Airport.
Richard was a life member of the VFW Post 1728 in Winamac. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, cutting stained glass projects and working in his yard.
Survivors include his wife Martha (Hubeny) Kurz of Kewanna; sons: Michael Kurz [Misty] of Corydon and Scott McCord of Georgia; daughters: Lisa McCord of Seattle and Jane Williamson [John] of Winamac; and 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by sisters: Marge Hartle and Libby Krohn; grandson Brent Kurz; and granddaughter Katelyn Kollmar.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4 at Pleasant Hill Lake Bruce Community Church.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial with military rites will be performed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
