Richard L. Hoff
Richard L. Hoff, 78, of Kewanna, passed away at 7:20 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, at his residence.
Born on Nov. 18, 1937, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Richard D. and Betty Jane (Hammond) Hoff.
He was married on Aug. 4, 1956, to Marilyn J. Mannies. She survives.
He was a 1956 Grass Creek High School graduate.
Rich was a banker for 25 years before coming to Kewanna where he farmed and owned and operated RMAR Lawn Care Service since 1986.
He was a former member of F & AM Masonic Lodge in Russellville, and he was also a former board member of the Kewanna Public Library.
Rich enjoyed gardening and reading. He also enjoyed attending soup dinners at Kewanna United Methodist Church (UMC) and visiting with friends each morning at the coffee shop.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn J. Hoff of Kewanna; daughters: Kim K. [Michael] Herrell of Warren, and Rhonda L. Hoff of Rochester; grandchildren: William R. Lockhart II, Justin B. Lockhart, Brittany Herrell, Aaron Herrell and Michael Crozier; great-grandchildren: Legacy L. Lockhart, Selena Herrell, Liam L. Lockhart and Nashton Herrell; brothers: Rodney L. [Linda] Hoff of Fletchers Lake, and Kenneth Hoff of Rochester; and sister Elaine K. [Jerry] Brown of Lucerne.
He was also preceded in death by infant daughter Renee Lynette Hoff.
Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 14, at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel. Services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, July 15, at the funeral home. Burial was at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
