Patty Madlung
Patty Madlung, 66, of Monticello, passed away at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 30, at her residence.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1958, in Monticello to the late Bernard and Barbara (Widner) Madlung.
She was a graduate of North White High School and worked for more than 20 years at PFT in Monon. Patty loved camping, walking through the state parks, feeding and watching the birds, and her flowers, especially her Bubble Gum Petunias. Every year she looked forward to decorating areas at Tippecanoe River State Park for Halloween.
She is survived by her companion for over twenty-four years, Norman Stangle of Monticello; son, Kevin Madlung of Lafayette; sister, Janice [Steve] Peterson of Bringhurst; bonus sons, Jason Stangle and Chad Crain.
Graveside memorial services and burial were held at Indian Creek Pro Cemetery at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Memorial contributions may be given to the White County Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
