Monna L. Johnson Luttrell

Monna L. Johnson Luttrell, 93, of Winamac, passed away Monday, March 31 at her home. 

She was born on July 12, 1931 in Francesville to the late David S. and Grace E. (Sheppard) Losh. On Sept. 8, 1951, she married Marion Johnson. He passed away on April 2, 2002. 

Monna worked hard throughout her life and had been employed at Fratco in Francesville and Eaton Corporation in Winamac. She was a member of New Beginnings Family Fellowship Church in Winamac. Monna enjoyed shopping, crafting, baking and flower gardening. She also enjoyed playing her guitar and singing. Most of all, she loved her family very much.

She is survived by daughters: Jackie [Jim] Kain, Medaryville and Rita [Rick] Payne, Winamac; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents: David S. and Grace E. (Sheppard) Losh; husband Marion Johnson; second husband Rastus Luttrell; infant son Marion Johnson, Jr.; son Chuck Johnson; sister Donna S. Luttrell; and brother Benjamin A. Losh.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Friday, April 4 at New Beginnings Family Fellowship Church in Winamac.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 4 at New Beginnings Family Fellowship Church in Winamac with Pastor Brent Smith officiating.  

Burial took place at Koster Cemetery in Francesville.
