Margie M. Deller

Margie Mae Deller, 73, of Winamac, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 12. She passed away peacefully at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac.  

Margie was born on Dec. 2, 1952 in Winamac. She graduated from Winamac High School and worked most of her life as a CNA. 

Margie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winamac. She enjoyed fishing and camping, especially at Lake Bruce. Margie also enjoyed going out to eat, putting puzzles together and working on her coloring books. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by daughter JoAnna Lynn Deller, Winamac; son Michael Shaun [wife: Jamie] Deller, Salem, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Gabriel, Cameron, Samantha, Tabitha, Shaun, Lea and Hayden; sisters: Lydia Jean White, Lafayette and Pauline Jane Cashman, Marseilles, Illinois; brother Jerry Ralph Freeman, Winamac; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Preceded in death by father Paul Raymond Freeman; mother Ruth Marcella (Edlin) Freeman; sisters:  Norma Lee Schermerhorn, Rena Ann Hoover and Carol Sue Hoover-Smith; and brothers: James Edward Freeman and Darl Dean Hoover-Shreve. 

Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.

Visitation will be from 12 – 2 p.m., Saturday, May 23, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 23, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac with Pastor Mark Pilger officiating.

Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery (Town Addition) in Winamac.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o Michael Deller.
