Margaret A. Reid

Margaret Ann Reid, 68, of Winamac, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 3, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Lafayette. 

She was born on June 10, 1955, in Winamac to the late Chris E. and Rose Ann (Hein) Ols. Margaret graduated from Winamac High School in 1973. On April 19, 1975, she married Michael Reid in Monticello. They have three daughters and three granddaughters. Margaret started her career as a stay-at-home mom and retired from BraunAbility after 26 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, nature, shopping, poker and traveling. Most of all, Margaret loved her family and spoiling her granddaughters.

She is survived by former spouse Michael Reid, Star City; daughters: Tonia [Jeremy Wegner] Reid, Winamac, Erin [Chris Lease] Reid, Bruce Lake, and Beth [Dave Fellers] Reid, Bruce Lake; bonus daughter Jamie Murray [Mike Craft], Winamac; granddaughters: Penelope Wegner, Celia Wegner and Charlie Lease; brother Chris A. [Lee] Ols, Greentown; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents: Chris E. and Rose Ann (Hein) Ols. 

Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory.
