Linda Hoffman

Linda Catherine Scheffer Hoffman, 75, of Asheboro, North Carolina, died Sunday, Dec. 21, at Siler City Center in Siler City.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 29, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, North Carolina with Pastor Fred Huffstetler officiating. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Park.

Born on July 9, 1950, in Cass County, Indiana, Linda was the daughter of the late Paul Martin Scheffer and Helen Louise Ortman Scheffer. She was retired from Belk and was a member of Central Methodist Church. Linda enjoyed doing crafts, gardening and baking with her grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Hoffman; and brothers: Brad Scheffer and Randy Scheffer.

Surviving are her daughters: Angela Hoffman [Gerardo] of Randleman, Kellie Hanspal [G.P.] of Asheboro; sisters: Lynn Nufer, Kathy Schroeder, Vickie Funkhouser and Shelley Scheffer; brothers: Ronald Scheffer, Don Scheffer, Gary Scheffer, Doug Scheffer, Steve Scheffer, George Scheffer; grandchildren: Jordan Jensen [Charles Draper] and Jaxon Jensen; and great-grandchildren: Damian Draper and Ember Rose Draper.

The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 28, at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, North Carolina.
