Jeffrey R. “Jeff” Weyer
Jeffrey R. “Jeff” Weyer, 41, of Valparaiso, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, at his home.
He was born on March 7, 1979, in Merrillville, to Jerry and Judy (Johnson) Weyer. Jeff graduated from Washington Township High School in Valparaiso. He worked for NIPSCO as a lineman for many years.
Jeff enjoyed motorcycles and cars as well as working with his hands. He was a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Jeff adored his children, Lexi and Logan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughter Alexis Weyer of Valparaiso; son Logan Weyer of Valparaiso; mother Judy (Johnson) Walton of Winamac; sister Torri Inman of Winamac; niece Amari Inman of Winamac; nephew Brason Inman of Winamac; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and finance Lana Olson of Wheatfield.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Weyer.
Visitation was from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, and noon-2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28. Rev. David Norris officiated. Burial took place at Winamac Cemetery McFarland Addition in Winamac.
