Jack Fisher
Jack Fisher, 71, of Winamac, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, July 6.
He was born on June 13, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Albert and Josephine (Swierczynski) Fisher. Jack owned and operated Quality Concrete Construction for over 20 years and was a proud member of the Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ International Association (OPCMIA) Local #692.
Jack always enjoyed hiking, fishing, camp fires, off-roading, riding 4-wheelers/dirt bikes and other outdoor activities. He was a great father to Casey [Lori] Fisher and a wonderful grandfather to Cooper and Collins Fisher.
He is survived by son Casey [Lori] Fisher, Charlotte, North Carolina; grandson Cooper Fisher; granddaughter Collins Fisher; sisters: Delores [Dennis] Mahler, Mooresville, Mary Maddox, Winamac, Grace Maltas, Wilmington, North Carolina and Anne Crawford, Winamac; brothers: Albert [Joanie] Fisher, Jr., Bowling Green, Kentucky, Edward [Loree] Fisher, Winamac and John Fisher, Plymouth; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents: Albert and Josephine (Swierczcynski) Fisher, Sr.; brother Joseph Fisher; sister Bertha Fisher; and niece Jamie Crawford.
Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.
Private burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery in Winamac.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Winamac Volunteer Fire Department.
