Dorothy M. Dibbern

Dorothy M. Dibbern, 90, of Winamac, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Parkview Haven in Francesville.

Born on Sept. 21, 1936, in Star City, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Besse) Foerg.

She was a 1954 graduate of Pulaski High School.

On Nov. 24, 1956, she married Gordon M.Dibbern.  He preceded her in death on June 11, 2020.

She was a retired surgical secretary from Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, Illinois. Dorothy was a former member of the Red Hat Ladies, and she enjoyed Bunco and volunteering for the Winamac Lions Club.

Survivors include her children: Gary Dibbern [Susanne] of Wheaton, Illinois and Victoria McIntyre of Lombard, Illinois; her siblings: Katherine Niemoeller of West Lafayette, James Foerg of Texas, John Foerg of Syracuse, Arthur Foerg of Star City, Phyllis Witham of Star City, William Foerg [Mary Lou] of Royal Center and Mary Alice Foerg of LaPorte; grandchildren: Amy Primeau [Carey] of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Jessica Foust [Bradley] of Wheaton, Illinois, Patrick McIntyre of Chicago, Illinois, Christopher McIntyre of Lombard, Illinois and Jason Dibbern of Wheaton, Illinois; and great-grandchildren: Cayden, Josephine, Logan and Miles. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life gathering will be from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Winamac Chapel, 110 N. Sally Dr., Winamac.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to your favorite charity in memory of Dorothy.
