Diane L. Carson

Diane Lynn Carson, 69, of West Lafayette, passed away Monday, Sept.15, at Greenwood Healthcare.

Diane was born June 24, 1956, in Lafayette, to Otto and Donna (Rockwell) Wuethrich. On Sept. 7, 1985, she married the love of her life, Dennis Carson, in Wabash and he survives.

Diane was a labor and delivery nurse at Home Hospital for many years and was a member of Kossuth St. Baptist Church.

Along with her husband, Dennis, and mother, Donna, she is survived by her children: Nicholas [wife, Colleen] Carson of Chicago, Illinois, McKailey [husband, Joseph] Chiarulli of Queens, New York and Benjamin Carson of West Lafayette; siblings: Suzanne [husband, Duane] Schieler of West Lafayette, Scott Wuethrich and Tim [wife, Sally] Wuethrich both of Francesville; and two beloved grandchildren: Elise and Simone McCarthy.

She is preceded in passing by her brother Jerry Wuethrich and by her father Otto Wuethrich.

Visitation was held from 1 – 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, at Kossuth St. Baptist Church - 2901 Kossuth St., Lafayette. Funeral service began at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Jon Keisling officiating. Interment followed at Grand View Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Dennis and Diane Carson Family Endowment Fund for Kossuth St. Baptist Church. Checks to be made payable to the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette - 300 Main St., Suite 100, Lafayette, IN, 47901; memo – Dennis and Diane Carson Endowment.
