Chloee R. Compton

Chloee Rose Compton, 14, of Medaryville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 21. 

She was born on Dec. 30, 2008 in Hobart. Chloee was a freshman at West Central High School. She was active in the school choir and enjoyed cooking class. Chloee was an avid reader and loved to draw and go to the beach. She was a great big sister and a helpful, loving daughter.

She is survived by mother Donna Ellen [Michael] Compton-Grinnell; father Jason Lee Compton, Sr.; brothers: Jason Lee Compton, Jr. and Bradley James “BB” Compton; sister Faith Ann Compton; maternal grandmother Deborah L. Bradley; maternal grandfather James M. [Ellen] Hickman; paternal grandmother Carolyn D. Gentry; maternal great-grandmother Rose M. Bradley; maternal great-grandparents: James F. (Kathryn) Hickman; maternal aunts: Jennifer M. Hickman and Kimberly A. Hickman; paternal great-uncles: Lenard L. Gentry and Michael G. Gentry; paternal great-aunts: Teresa L. [Stephen] March and Janet J. Muller; and many cousins. 

Preceded in death by paternal grandfather Randy Lee Compton; maternal great-grandfather Robert Donald Bradley; paternal great-grandparents: James [Faye] Gentry; paternal great-aunt Clara Gentry; and paternal great-uncle Anthony A. Gentry.

Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, with Pastors Tom Dewlen and Mark Promnitz officiating.

Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
