Brenda K. Brandt Dietrich

May 28, 1944 — March 25, 2024

Brenda K. Brandt Dietrich, 79, of Culver, passed away at the Pulaski Health Care Center surrounded by her family on Monday, March 25. 

She was born on May 28, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Charles Junior “Chuck” and Edna Marie Jenkins Baker. She was a graduate of Culver Community High School in Culver. 

Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed her dogs and living on Lake Maxinkuckee.  

She is survived by sons: Jeffrey D. [Tammy] Brandt, Monterey, Joseph U. [Annette] Brandt, Winamac and Gerry A. [Shannon] Brandt, Culver; granddaughters: Cortney Brandt, Jordan Brandt, Mackenzie Brandt [Nathan] Allen, Taylor Brandt [Gary] Lockridge and Jessica Brandt; grandsons: Austin Brandt, Beau Brandt and Colten Brandt; great-granddaughters: Brooklyn Brandt and Cassidy Allen; great-grandsons: Preston Lockridge and Brandt Allen; sisters: Linda Ripperger [Tad] Delay, Bloomington and Barbara Schemel, Jupiter, Florida; brother Michael [Pauline] Baker, Greenfield, Wisconsin; nieces and nephews Susan Mahler, Eddie Mike Mahler and Lisa Mahler; Mark Ripperger, Steven Baker, Bobby, Beth and Gregory Schemel.

Preceded in death by parents: Charles Junior “Chuck” and Edna Marie Jenkins Baker; son Rodney Allen Brandt; and sister and brother-in-law: Sharon [Larry] Mahler.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Friday, March 29, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 29, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. 

Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery-McKinley Addition in Winamac.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulaski Animal Center or Marshall County Humane Society.
