Bonnie L. Hanawalt

Nov. 12, 1932 — May 4, 2026

Bonnie L. Hanawalt, 93, of Winamac, passed away at 5:05 p.m., Monday, May 4, at Parkview Haven Healthcare in Francesville. 

Born on Nov. 12, 1932 in Winamac, she was the daughter of the late Carson and Laura (Coin) Umphrey. She was a 1950 Pulaski High School graduate. Bonnie retired from the Pulaski County Farm Service Agency after 30 years.

She was a former member of the Pulaski Presbyterian Church. Bonnie was a 50 year member of the Royal Center Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, traveling and going on cruises.

Survivors include her cousin Suzie Hewitt of Greenwood; sisters-in-law: Kathy Ritter, Sonie Hanawalt and Nancy Logan; and friends: Steve Cotner, Mary Cotner, Joyce Vallis and Phylis Martin.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, at the Winamac Cemetery, Southlawn addition with Pastor Ed Clark officiating.
