Betty Jean Shepperd

Betty Jean Shepperd, 56, died Friday, March 3, at her home.

She was born Nov. 7, 1966, in Winamac, to the late Alex and Anna Lee Richie Sr. On Sept. 25, 2001, she married Perry Shepperd.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, fishing, flower gardening and going to yard sales.

She is survived by her husband, Perry; one daughter, Selena Cole of Knox; one son, Zach [Sarah] Tessier of Plymouth; one step-son, Justin [Tiffany] Shepperd of Porter; 10 grandchildren, seven brothers and four sisters. 

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sofia Stafford and a set of twins and three sisters: Deb, Polly and Annette.

Services were held Friday, March 10, at Souls Harbor Church. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson.

Arrangements were made by O’Donnell Funeral Home, Inc., North Judson.
