Linda Lou Weida

Jan. 3 1945 — June 25, 2026

Linda L. Weida 81, of Winamac, Indiana passed away peacefully June 25, of natural causes. Her loving son and daughter were with her. 

She was born on Jan. 3, 1945, in Jefferson Township, Pulaski County, Indiana to Ernest Ora Crawford and Ethel May (Gladys Doty) Crawford. 

A devoted mother and Christian, she enjoyed water skiing and horseback riding in her youth and had a lifelong love of reading, listening to music and spending time outdoors. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In her later years she was a dedicated foster parent. 

She is survived by her spouse Phillip Weida; her two sons: David Weida and Tom Weida; and four daughters: Corinna [Paul] Calabrese, Camellia Rinehart, Christina [James] Pitcher, and Celesta [James] Hickey; in addition to her numerous grandchildren as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three siblings: George, Raymond and Thomas Crawford.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Her celebration of life will be at the Eagles, 602 W. 11th St., Winamac, IN 46996 on Sunday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
