PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that Pulaski County will host an informational work session regarding recent legislative changes affecting Indiana’s Local Income Tax (“LIT”) and the potential formation of a Municipal Unit Strategic Taskforce (“MUST”).

The session will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Eastern Pulaski Middle/High School Auditorium – 715 School Drive, Winamac, IN, 46996.

The meeting will provide an overview of the new LIT legislation, explain the purpose and requirements of the MUST process, and discuss its potential impact on local government funding and services within Pulaski County. Representatives of the county, municipalities, and other local governmental units are expected to attend.

No formal recommendations or decisions regarding local income tax distributions will be made at this informational session. The public are invited to attend. Additional meetings may be scheduled as the MUST process moves forward.
