Augustus “Gus” E. Fitz

Augustus “Gus” Ely Fitz was saved and baptized into the Catholic religion on Feb. 14 and a few short days later God called him home.

Gus loved gaming and hanging out with his family and close friends, especially his German Shepherd battle buddy, Rex.

Gus is a 2025 graduate of Granite High School with honors.

Gus is survived by his parents: Lucinda and Joel Christensen and his beloved sister Madalynn Fitz; grandparents: Garry and Marsha Fitz; great uncles and aunts: Dennis Hunt, Larry [Cathy] Hunt, Beth [Jerry] Brooks; great-great Uncle Tex and Aunt Carol Simmons; uncles and aunts: Lisa [Mark] Borst, Josh [Sarah] Christensen; cousins: Justyn, Xandru, Brogan, Rasmus, Rye, Maeve, Serena, James and Henry; honorary uncle Jason [Christina] Fritz, uncle Jeff Wolfson; and numerous other family members and friends.

Gus is preceded in death by his uncle Bryan and cousins Baynen and Stellan.

Hennessey Valley Funeral Home & Crematory was entrusted with serving the family.
