Michele D. Mustakes

Michele D. Mustakes, 67, of Winamac, passed away on Friday, March 7, at Northwest Health Hospital in LaPorte.

 Born on Aug. 11, 1957 in Sullivan, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Margaret (Mull) McAleece. 

Michele spent her youth in Linton and Fort Wayne prior moving to Winamac.

 Michele was a horse trainer and instructor. She also loved taking trail rides with friends. Her hobbies included reading books, gaming with friends and playing with her granddaughter.

 Survivors include her husband, Andrew Mustakes of Winamac; daughter, Nicole Pugh [Robert] of Winamac; brother, Dusty Starr of South Bend; and granddaughter, Lorelei Pugh. 

She was also preceded in death by son, Robert Coon.

A celebration of her life and visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, March 14 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Winamac Chapel, 110 N. Sally Dr., Winamac.
