Carolyn Sue (Fites) Redlin

Aug. 25, 1953 — Jan. 24, 2024

Carolyn Sue (Fites) Redlin, 70, of Winamac, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 24, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Aug. 25, 1953, to the late William Fites and late Delores Fites. She graduated from Winamac Community High School in 1971. On Mar. 22, 1975, Carolyn married Charles “Chuck” Redlin at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denham, he survives.

Carolyn was a tireless worker, having many different jobs around town. She was a lover of BINGO and all games of chance. Carolyn enjoyed going on girls’ trips with Chrissy and attending all of Craig’s band functions. She loved to travel with the family, however, her greatest joy was being a grandmother to her three grandchildren: Hunter and Haley Lawbaugh, and Lauren Redlin.

Surviving with her husband, Chuck, are their two children: Christine [Michael] Lawbaugh of Highland and Craig [Mallory] Redlin of Rensselaer; and grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Steve [Minner] Fites of Winamac; and sisters: Lois Reynolds of Winamac, Marilyn Krieg of Indianapolis, and Nancy Abraham of Valparaiso.

Visitation was from 9 to 11 a.m. EST (8 to 10 a.m. CST) on Monday, Jan. 29, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denham, 6692 N. 575 W., Winamac, Indiana 46996. Service was immediately after at 11 a.m. EST (10 a.m. CST), with Rev. Mark Fakih presiding. Burial was at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Denham. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church.

O’Donnell Funeral Home of North Judson assisted the family with the arrangements. Carolyn’s online guestbook is available and condolences can be shared with the family at www.odonnellfhome.com.
