Ronald W. Franscoviak

April 21, 1957 — Jan. 19, 2017

Ronald Wayne Franscoviak, 59, passed away at his home in Gallatin, Tennessee, on Jan. 19.  Ronald was born in Monticello, on April 21, 1957, the son of Bernard and Maxine (Johnson) Franscoviak. He formerly lived in Pulaski County.

Ronald retired in 2016 from the union where he was a heavy equipment operator for Walsh & Kelly.  He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local #150.

Ronald liked to fish, garden and cook for his family and friends. His loved his family and took great joy in spending time with them.

Surviving is his loving family: daughter Heather [Rick Jr.] Payne of Gallatin, Tennessee; grandchildren: Sydney Crownover, Kane Crownover, Jacob Payne and Kayleigh Payne; a sister Peg Oakley of North Judson; and seven brothers: Francis “Butch” Franscoviak of Brookston, Rick Franscoviak of Williamsport, Marvin  Franscoviak of Royal Center, Brian Franscoviak of Lafayette, Mike Franscoviak of Francesville, Jason Mike Franscoviak of Francesville, and Randy Franscoviak of Francesville. 

His parents; a brother Jerry; and sisters: Linda and Lisa, preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer on Saturday, Jan. 28, from 2-4 p.m. CST. Funeral services will follow at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer at 4 p.m. CST with Dr. James Blanchard officiating. 

Memorials in memory of Ronald may be made to the Vanderbilt Palliative Care Clinic, 1211 Medical Center Dr., Nashville, TN, 37232.
