Brenda L. Creasy

Brenda L. Creasy, 67, of Winamac, passed away at 7:31 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, at St. Elizabeth East in Lafayette. 

She was born on Nov. 8, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Etta (Lynch) Tirey. On Sept. 14, 1968, she married the love her life, Richard L. Creasy, in East St. Louis, Illinois. He survives.

Brenda was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Winamac. She enjoyed crafting and shopping. Brenda was a proud homemaker — a loving wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She will be sadly missed. 

She is survived by her husband Richard L. Creasy of Winamac; daughter Sandy [Gary] Brown of Culver; son Michael [Dana] Creasy of Winamac; grandchildren: Joshua, Tasha, Austin and Dalton; great-grandchildren: Landen, Brycen and Bella; sisters: Phyllis [Wayne] Hudson of Tyner, Kentucky, Lana Tirey of Annville, Kentucky, and Tammy [Donnie] Cavins of Annville, Kentucky; brother Dallis [Tammy] Tirey of Winamac; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Etta (Lynch) Tirey, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Hobert and Grace (James) Creasy. 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Frain Mortuary. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac with Pastor David Norris officiating. Burial will take place at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winamac.
