Randy G. Beam

Randy G. Beam, 74, of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, formerly of Star City, passed away at 9:37 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System.

Mr. Beam was born March 31, 1942, in Dover, New Jersey, a son of Randolf and Verna (Scheer) Beam. He was employed for many years by Worstell Realty in Valparaiso, working in maintenance and remodeling. Randy retired in 2007.

He enjoyed tubing, floating down the river, hunting and fishing, watching NASCAR and volunteering at the Eagles Post 2582 in Winamac.

Survivors include his wife the former Kathryn Froehling, whom he married on March 2, 1963; daughter Vicki [John] Leviner of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; son Arthur Beam of Winamac; and his grandchildren: Marita Pruett, Anthony [Tiffany] Beam, and Ceara Leviner.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Bonnie Beam; and brother Roger Beam.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2-5 p.m. at the Winamac VFW, 1066 S. U.S. Hwy 35, Winamac, IN 46996.
