Freda V. Passmore
Freda V. Passmore, 90, of Winamac, passed away at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at her home.
Freda was born on July 25, 1926, in Elizabethtown, Illinois, to the late William and Myrtle Reed. She was a graduate of North Judson High School. On Nov. 5, 1949, Freda married Guy Passmore in North Judson. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1993. Freda was retired from Eaton Controls in Winamac, where she had worked for 35 years.
Freda loved spending time with her family, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She also enjoyed playing cards, long country drives, animals (especially Bobber), puzzle books and making jam and jelly. She will be sadly missed.
Survivors include her daughters: Linda [Tom] Shanley of Kokomo, Loretta [Noel] Nixon of Logansport, Betty Passmore of Winamac; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister Mary Mihaljevic of Cresthill, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents William E. and Myrtle (Tinsley) Reed; husband Guy E. Passmore; and brothers: Artie Smith, Gordon Reed and James Reed.
A private family graveside service will be held at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winamac with Pastor Todd Randles officiating.
Burial will take place at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winamac.
