Councilwoman Bailey resigns from Monterey Town Council

It was recently announced that councilwoman Emily (Bailey) Ditmire will be resigning from her position on the Monterey Town Council. Her last day on the town council will be Oct. 31. The announcement came from town council president Doug Denton at a regular town council meeting on Oct. 11. He explained that her resignation is coming in light of her recently getting married and no longer living within town limits. President Denton is both the elected Democrat Chairman and for Pulaski County and the Precinct Chairman of Tippecanoe Township. He will be looking for her replacement.
