BZA sets hearing on solar project special exception

Mammoth Solar has filed another petition as the company would like a special exception for 4,692.04 acres.
Starke Solar d/b/a Mammoth Solar would like to install commercial solar panels in three separate areas including Franklin, Jefferson, Monroe and Rich Grove townships.
In order to do so, a zoning hearing will be held with the Pulaski County Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) on Monday, March 15, at 6 p.m.
Those who may have a suggestion or objection may file it with the plan administrator or administrative secretary a minimum of 48 hours prior to the hearing. Individuals also have an opportunity, either in writing or verbally, to voice their support or concerns during the hearing.
The hearing will be held in the Pulaski County Highway Garage in Winamac. Due to COVID-19, in-person attendance at the meeting will be based on the executive orders of the governor in regards to in-person meeting occupancy.
The county will attempt to livestream the meeting via Facebook and/or Zoom.
