Winamac Plan Commission’s certification of Winamac Ordinance 18 of 2016

NOTICE

At their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, 12 December 2016, the Winamac Town Council will consider the Winamac Plan Commission’s certification of Winamac Ordinance 18 of 2016, the Winamac Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). This certification represents a recommendation by the Plan Commission that the Town Council repeal the current Winamac Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance and Official Winamac Zoning Map, as adopted in 1994 and since amended,  and replace them with the aforesaid UDO (including by reference the updated Official Winamac Zoning Map), ordinance 18 of 2016. The Town Council will adopt, reject, or amend the UDO proposal upon first reading, or further consider it at a second meeting. If approved, it will become effective on 1 January 2017. Additionally, the Town Council will consider the Plan Commission’s recommended development-fee schedule for land use and residential building (with all other building fees to remain as-are for now), ordinance 19 of 2016.
