RE-ZONING REQUEST

Notice of Public Hearing of an Application for Re-Zoning

Notice is hereby given that on 29 March 2016 at 6:00p.m. ET a public hearing will be held before the Winamac Plan Commission at the Municipal Utilities Complex, 623 West 11th Street, Winamac, on the application of the Pulaski County Commissioners. 

The property proposed to be rezoned is parcel 66-07-14-999-006.001-010, commonly known as 700 West 60 South, the Pleasant View Rest Home, as well as +/-.803 acres of parcel 66-07-14-300-006.000-010 that would be incorporated into two proposed new tracts of land split out of the primary parcel. The County Commissioners request that the property be rezoned from I-2, Heavy Industrial, to R-2, Two-Family/Multi-Family Residential. 

Application documentation is available at the Winamac Town Hall, 120 West Main Street, Winamac, Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Written suggestions, questions, or objections concerning this application may be filed with the Plan Commission through the Town Manager at or before the hearing and will be heard by the Commission at aforesaid hearing. Persons desiring to present their views on the application in writing or verbally will be given the opportunity to do so at the aforesaid hearing. Said hearing may be continued from time to time as necessary.
