Legal Notice of Consideration of a Property-Tax Abatement for Standard Properties, Inc. 

On Monday, 9 January 2023, at or about 6:00 p.m. ET, in the meeting room of the Winamac Municipal Utilities Complex, 623 West Eleventh Street, the Winamac Town Council will conduct a public hearing to receive and to hear any remonstrances and objections to a real property-tax abatement request from Standard Properties, Inc. Having heard any public comment, the Council will then decide on the real property-tax abatement requested. The proposed project for which this abatement will be requested would take place on any or all of the following parcels: 

1. 66-14-13-300-018.000-011   8. 66-14-13-337-023.000-011

2. 66-14-13-300-019.000-011   9. 66-14-13-337-024.000-011

3. 66-14-13-300-046.000-011 10. 66-14-13-337-025.000-011

4. 66-14-13-337-016.000-011 11. 66-14-13-337-026.000-011

5. 66-14-13-337-019.000-011 12. 66-14-13-337-027.000-011

6. 66-14-13-337-020.000-011 13. 66-14-13-337-028.000-011

7. 66-14-13-337-021.000-011 14. 66-14-13-337-022.000-011

all commonly known as 100 West Michigan Street, Winamac, Indiana, and comprising approximately 5.41 acres.

The Winamac Town Council did, on 10 February 2014, establish these parcels as an Economic Revitalization Area. 

A description of the affected area is available at the County Assessor’s office and can be inspected there during regular business hours; a copy of the 2014 resolution is available at the office of the Pulaski County Community Development Commission and can be viewed there during regular business hours.
