Legal Notice of Adoption of

Preliminary Tax Abatement Resolution

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Pulaski County, Indiana, that the Pulaski County Council on 13 August 2018 adopted a Preliminary Resolution, 01-2018, designating as an Economic Recovery Area (ERA), for a period of twenty years, an area of land in Monroe Civil Township described as follows:

PARCEL 66-07-30-200-027.000-010; COMMONLY KNOWN AS 4877 WEST 500 SOUTH, WINAMAC, INDIANA; COMPRISING APPROXIMATELY 11.584 ACRES; AND OWNED BY TRUST PROPERTIES, LLC.

Aforesaid ERA has been established for the purpose of achieving property-tax abatement in connection with redevelopment or rehabilitation activities and with the installation of new manufacturing, research and development, logistical distribution, or information-technology equipment on the property.

A description of the affected area and a copy of the Preliminary Resolution are available at the County Auditor’s office and can be inspected there during regular business hours.

On Monday, 8 October 2018, at 7:00 p.m. EDT, in the meeting room of the Pulaski County Highway Garage, 1131 North U.S.-35, Winamac, Indiana, the Pulaski County Council will conduct a public hearing to receive and to hear all remonstrances and objections, if any, to this project, and to take final action on the Preliminary Resolution and either to award or to deny property-tax abatements as requested and described in a Statement of Benefits.
