ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID

TOWN OF MEDARYVILLE

Pulaski County, Indiana

OWNER - The Town of Medaryville acting through its Board, hereby gives notice that sealed bids will be received at the Medaryville Town Hall for the following described project.

PROJECT - This project generally consists of milling and resurfacing, and associated storm sewer improvements on Ridge Street and Pearl Street in the Town of Medaryville, Pulaski County, Indiana.

Bids will be received on the following contract(s): 

M0068-5-16-00230.02 – 2017 Pavement/Improvements Project

TIME - Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in the Medaryville Town Hall, 409 E. Main, Medaryville, IN 47957. Bids will be opened at this time.

BIDS - All bids shall be addressed to Town of Medaryville, 409 E. Main St., Medaryville, IN 47957. 

Bids shall be sealed and shall have the name and address of the bidder and the contract for which the bid is being submitted on the outside of the envelope. All bidders shall bid in accordance with and upon the Bid Forms included in the contract documents.

EXAMINATION OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS - the contract documents are on file for inspection at the office of McMAHON Associates, Inc., 952 S. State Road 2, Valparaiso, IN 46385.

PROCUREMENT OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS - Copies of the contract documents may be obtained from McMAHON Associates, Inc., 952 S. State Road 2, Valparaiso, Indiana 46385.

A non-refundable processing charge of $ 50.00 will be required for each set of contract documents. The fee applies whether digital or paper documents are obtained, or if the plans and picked up or shipped to Contractor. 

BID SECURITY - No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to Town of Medaryville in the in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract, performance/payment bonds and insurance certification, as required by the contract documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award.

BID REJECTION - The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the Town of Medaryville.

WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS - No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER.

GOVERNING LAWS & REGULATIONS - The contract letting shall be subject to and governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
