PUBLIC NOTICE

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

On or about June 1, 2018, The Town of Winamac Board of Parks and Recreation intends to apply to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Division of Outdoor Recreation for a grant from the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). This program is funded largely from Outer Continental Shelf mineral receipts. These funds are to be used for a community development project that will include the following activities; new toddler playground and new restrooms in the Town of Winamac Park. The proposed project area is in a floodplain.

The Town of Winamac Board of Parks and Recreation will hold a public hearing on April 23, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., at the Winamac Utility Complex located at 623 W. 11th Street to provide interested parties an opportunity to express their views on the proposed LWCF funding.
