You have been sued by the “Plaintiffs” above. The suit is a Complaint to Quiet Title upon property in Starke County, Indiana, described as:

PART OF NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 32 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST OF THE 2ND PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, NORTH BEND TOWNSHIP, STARKE COUNTY, INDIANA LYING SOUTH OF COUNTY ROAD 210 AND BEING THAT 0.04 ACRE PARCEL SURVEYED BY PLYMOUTH LAND SURVEYING – WIGHTMAN, J. BERNARD FEENEY, INDIANA PROFESSIONAL SURVEYOR NO. 80040309 AND SHOWN ON A BOUNDARY SURVEY CERTIFIED ON SEPTEMBER 22, 2022 AS 226639 (ALL MONUMENTS REFERENCED HEREIN ARE SET OR FOUND ON THE AFORESAID FEENEY SURVEY), BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 8 IN CHITTICK’S ADDITION AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 1, PAGE 59 IN THE OFFICE OF THE STARKE COUNTY RECORDER; THENCE SOUTH 13°07’43” EAST ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT 8, ALSO BEING THE WEST LINE OF A 30 FOOT WIDE LANE, A DISTANCE OF 177.75 FEET TO A 5/8” REBAR SET WITH WIGHTMAN FIRM 0145 CAP, BEING THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE NORTH 65°36’59” EAST A DISTANCE OF 30.59 FEET TO 5/8” REBAR SET WITH WIGHTMAN FIRM 0145 CAP ON A LINE BEING THE PROJECTION OF THE EAST LINE OF SAID 30 FOOT WIDE LANE; THENCE SOUTH 13°07’43” EAST ALONG SAID PROJECTED LINE, A DISTANCE OF 63.7 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE WATER’S EDGE OF BASS LAKE; THENCE WESTERLY ALONG SAID WATER’S EDGE, A DISTANCE OF 33 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO A LINE BEING A PROJECTION OF THE WEST LINE OF SAID 30 FOOT WIDE LANE; THENCE NORTH 13°07’43” WEST ON SAID PROJECTED LINE, A DISTANCE OF 46.3 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. 

SUBJECT TO THE LEGAL RIGHTS OF A PUBLIC HIGHWAY, ANY EASEMENTS, COVENANTS OR RESTRICTIONS OF RECORD.

Plaintiffs have also filed an Affidavit showing that the whereabouts of known and unknown parties who claim or may claim to have an interest in real estate, upon diligent inquiry, are unknown and may not be residents of the State of Indiana. To all Defendants named, known, unknown, wife widower, heirs, devisees; the purpose of this legal proceeding is to quiet title to the above-described real estate.

You must answer the Complaint, in writing, within thirty (30) days commencing the day after final publication of this notice, or judgement may be entered against you as demanded in the Complaint. If judgement is entered, quieting the title to the Plaintiffs shall be against all demands, claims, claimants and the world.
