William Eugene “Bill” Sanson

Nov. 19, 1958 — Nov. 15, 2016

William Eugene “Bill” Sanson, 57, of rural Star City, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born Nov. 19, 1958, in Monticello, to Gerald Eugene and Patricia Ann (Calloway) Sanson. On June 21, 1980, in Monticello, he married Diana S. O’Neal. She survives.

Bill lived on a farm in rural Star City since August of 1990, and worked for Allen and Son’s Farm. 

He farmed most all his life.

Bill was very involved in the Pulaski County 4-H Horse and Pony.

Most of all, Bill loved spending time with his grandkids.

Surviving are his wife Diana S. “Dee” Sanson of Star City; children: Mandy A. [Kent] Eldridge of Francesville, William G. “Gerry” [Amanda] Sanson of Royal Center, and Kenneth S. “Kenny” [Andrea] Sanson of Star City; grandsons: Levi W.C. Sanson, Wyatt J. Sanson, and one on the way;  parents Gerald E. “Jerry” and Patricia A. “Pat” Sanson of Burnettsville; sisters: Pamela K. “Pam” [Dave] Spradlin of Logansport, and Barbara A. “Barb” [John] Marx of Burnettsville.

Visitation was 2-6 p.m., Nov. 20, at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello.  A celebration of life service was held at the funeral home at 6 p.m., Nov. 20. Burial was private for the family.

Memorials may be given to the Pulaski County 4-H Horse and Pony Club.
