William A. “Will” Hickman

March 30, 1923 — Dec. 17, 2015

William A. "Will" Hickman, 92, of Winamac, passed away at 10:04 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac.  

Will was born on March 30, 1923, in LaCrosse, to the late Clifford and Edna (Sizelove) Hickman.

Will married Margaret Currier on June 15, 1947, at Pretty Lake in Plymouth. She passed away Sept. 30, 2001.

Will was a longtime member of the Ora Gospel Chapel in Ora.  

He was retired from McCords Radiator in Plymouth.

Will enjoyed hunting and woodworking.   

He loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.  

Survivors include his daughter Diane [Keith Franz] Bair of Winamac; granddaughters: Nikki [Brian Ditmire] Keller of Culver, and Heather [Eric] Billiard of Logansport; grandson Derek Keller; great-granddaughters Lindsey Keller, Teagan Billiard and Taylon Billiard; great-grandsons: Derek J. Keller, Owen Keller, Ethan Keller and Zac Ditmire; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford  and Edna (Sizelove) Hickman; wife Margaret (Currier) Hickman; sister Iva Garbison; brother Ray Hickman; one infant sister; and one infant brother. 

Visitation was 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at Frain Mortuary. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. Rev. Don Franklin officiated. Burial took place in Mt. Zion-Franklin Township Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial contributions may be given to Ora Gospel Chapel.
