William “Bill” Martin

William “Bill” Martin aka “Dutchie” or “The Mayor of Pulaski,” 91, went home to be with our Lord on Feb. 10. He was born in Arkansas to Minnie and William Martin on June 18, 1930. 

Bill was a veteran and served his country in the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Martha Hinton, on Jan. 16, 1956, and was by her side until her passing in 2009. 

They had six children: Mike Martin, Tony [Nancy] Martin, the late Mark Martin, Debbie [Leroy] Casey, the late Scott Martin, and Jeannie [Jim] Larvick, as well as 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. 

Bill was a beacon of light - not only to his family, but to his friends, neighbors, and everyone else that had the honor and pleasure of meeting him. He will be often thought of and greatly missed.
