Wanda F. Miller

Feb. 11, 1933 — Feb. 3, 2016

Wanda F. Miller, 82, of Winamac, passed away at 1:22 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac. 

She was born Feb. 11, 1933, in Lubbock, Texas, to Ewell and Maggie Burnett and was the youngest of 12 children. 

Wanda married Darl G. Miller, who survives, in September of 1964 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Wanda was a member of the Kewanna Church of Christ and the Kalamazoo Area Board of Realtors. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Wanda enjoyed crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed weekend trips with her beloved husband. Wanda was proud to be a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and best friend. Wanda loved receiving yellow roses from Darl on every special occasion. She was a woman of faith and her favorite book was the Bible.

Survivors include her husband Darl G. Miller of Winamac; daughters: Tommi Borsini of Granger, and Kelly Miller of Winamac; son Bruce Wheatley of Kalamazoo, Michigan; grandchildren: Bruce [Denise] Wheatley Jr., Brian [Angie] Wheatley, Danna Tibbs and Dustin Tibbs; seven great-grandchildren; sister Ruby Wright of Rosharon, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, with David Broad and Aaron McCombs officiating. Private burial of cremated remains will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan.

Memorial contributions may be given to a hospice of your choice or Kewanna Church of Christ.
