Vida Lee Keller

July 4, 1925 — April 8, 2018

Vida Lee Keller, 92, of Logansport, passed away peacefully at 2:35 a.m., Sunday, April 8, at Woodbridge Health Campus.

Born on July 4, 1925, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Bauman) Bruner.

She was a Logansport High School graduate.

On September 10, 1948, she married Walter “Danny” Keller. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2008.

Vida formerly worked at Logan Machine and in the cafeteria for the Logansport School Corporation. She also managed the Pressman Pool for Miami and Cass County Knights of Columbus.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she also taught Sunday school, Dykeman and Pond View Golf Course Ladies Associations, Cause for Paws and the Elkettes. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, baking and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters: Daniele Sharp and husband Phil of Battle Ground and Stephanie Bonnell and husband Steve of Star City; sister Darla Muehlhausen of Logansport; and sister-in-law Geraldine Bruner of Converse. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Keller; brother, Robert Bruner; and a great-grandson, Shane Keller.

A celebration of Vida’s life will be at 3 p.m., Thursday, April 12, at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Larry DeVos officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.
