Tina Marie Kasten

Tina Marie Kasten, 58, Winamac, passed away at 10:14 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

She was born Dec. 25, 1956, in Winamac, to Frank and Arnabelle (Stepp) Penicaro.

Tina was a lifelong resident of Pulaski County. She worked at the Colonial Inn for 13 years and also the Pleasant View Rest Home for 24 years.

She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her dogs Sophie and Teddie. Family was her life. Her passion was cooking and baking, especially for her family.

Survivors include daughters: Denise L. [David] Hettinger of Star City, and Charity Foley of Lafayette; sons: T.J. [Sara] Lowry of Winamac, Michael [Jenny] Kasten Jr. of Winamac, and Shaun-Dale [Sarah] Kasten of Winamac; granddaughters: Taylor Hettinger, Dakota Conner, Madyson Kasten, Trinity Foley and Serenity Sloan; grandsons: Carter Hettinger, Durham Kasten and Austin Kasten; sister Penni [Floyd] Hilton of Yuma, Arizona; brothers: Dan [Ellen] Penicaro of Greenville, South Carolina, and Tim Penicaro of Rochester; sisters-in-law: Debra Penicaro of Star City, and Cathy Penicaro of Kewanna; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Arnabelle (Stepp) Penicaro; and brothers: Bradley Penicaro and James Penicaro.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, May 21, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, at Frain Mortuary, with Pastor Andy Weil officiating. Burial will take place in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
