Thomas “Tom” Lee Hoffman

Thomas “Tom” Lee Hoffman, 75, of Asheboro, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Born on Oct. 13, 1947, in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Florence Hanson Hoffman. 

Tom was part owner of Shank’s Menswear in Winamac. He spent a lot of time in his woodshop and enjoyed making small cabinets and furniture, as well as volunteering at the North Carolina zoo. He was a proud member of Central United Methodist Church.

Tom is survived by his wife, Linda Hoffman; daughters: Angela [Gerardo] Hoffman of Randleman, North Carolina, and Kellie [G.P.] Hanspal of Asheboro, North Carolina; sister, Betty Jean Reinhold of Winamac; brothers: Arthur Spencer [Barbara] Hoffman of Winamac, Howard Franklin Hoffman of Rochester, and Daniel [Dawn] Hoffman of Charlotte, Michigan; grandchildren: Jordan Jensen and Jaxon Jensen; and great-grandchildren: Damian Draper and Ember Rose Draper.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, John William Hoffman; and sister, Marjorie Conn.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro, North Carolina.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 11 at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro, North Carolina with Dr. J.F. Howard, Sr. officiating.
